Tip 20: Reduce stress with the 1 sale challenge

Visions of big sales can create big stress. The key is to focus on the achievable, not the possible.

Starting a business comes with self-imposed high expectations, often resulting in pressure, stress and anxiety.

Stress and anxiety are a normal part of life, but when it comes to considering your income potential, it can hit the roof.

This is because we quickly become emotionally attached to a vision of financial success, making us feel dissatisfied with our current situation and pressured into achieving a potentially improbable financial goal.

We want it now.

The result is a loss of motivation.

For some, such a vision can be a significant motivator, never clouding the bigger picture. But if that's not you, don't think about making £x next month - focus on making one sale.

Just one.

Deliver excellent customer service. If you make one sale, you can make two. Sales will grow exponentially if you focus on providing the service your customers expect.

Keep your head in the game.
