Shakespeare did okay without social media

Too many people mindlessly jump on the social bandwagon:

  • It's free
  • It looks good
  • The appeal of global reach
  • It's easy to hide behind

If your business model relies on social media, ask yourself:

  • Am I hiding? If so, why?
  • What opportunities may I be missing?
  • What risks am I exposing my business to? For example, the consequences of being kicked off for no apparent reason, algorithm changes etc.
💡
If you sell locally: make calls, attend networking events, book a stand at a fair - get your voice and face out there. Just like Shakespeare did.

If you sell outside of your local area, also do the above.
